Okay, this is not a subject I would normally spend a lot of time on but my judgement is impaired because I have been sitting at my computer so long my eyes are all gummy and I have lost all feeling in my butt.
So, does anyone else think it's hilarious that Tom Cruise's was dropped by his studio?

I can honestly say Tom Cruise has always given me the creeps. Since 1981, anyway, when I first spotted him in a little film called Taps. Granted, his character was totally creepy but I'm sure it was my finely tuned real-life Creep-O-Meter that put me onto him so quickly.
Although I must admit it wasn't an entirely reliable method of detection. I was all agog for another unknown actor in that movie who seemed so pure and good and noble but who grew up to be the human formerly known as Sean Penn.
Alas, a tiny piece of my heart still belongs to pre-heroin Sean. And young, skinny Elvis. And pre-Passion Mel. But once they go to drugs or alcohol or god or any dangerous combination thereof, I'm pretty much done with them.
Thank god Hollywood provides us with a constant parade of new and pretty boys every year so we never have a chance to get bored. (Or girls, if that is your persuasion. I am all for equal opportunity.)
