You put the right column in, you pull the left column out, you put the left back in and you switch them both about. (You ARE singing that to the hokey-pokey tune, aren't you?)
I moved some things around on the blog today. You may have noticed sometimes the page takes a while to load. Remember those pesky Newsgator blogrolls I created? They are often the problem but not always (I hasten to add.) (Hi Jack!) Many times it is my cheapo freebie statcounter script causing the holdup.
I suppose I should upgrade to a better statcounter but I have no idea which one to go with and I would take a little time to research it but I can't right now because I have pink eye.
Or I am turning into a brain-eating zombie.
Or I have an invisible cat hair in my eye and have stuck my fingers in there and used eye-wash on it so many times it is now a dried husk of an eyeball and will disintegrate at the slightest breeze.
Anyway, I essentially flip-flopped the right and left columns so the stuff that loads first (the left column) will not hold up the loading of the main content (the middle column.) The slow boat to China stuff on the right can take as long as it wants to load after that because you will be engrossed in reading all about my exciting pink eye or viewing the latest photo of my cat's regurgitated hairball that looks just like the Virgin Mary.
So take a peek around to orient yourself and feel free to email me if you experience any difficulties (new or old.)
Thanks to Zalary at Typepad Customer Support for the tip about how to speed up page-loads and keep my blogrolls.
